The PD-D9’s back panel offers you the choice of using coaxial or optical digital output for playing CDs, or the analogue R/L RCA outputs for CDs and SACDs. The AC receptacle allows for the substitution of a higher quality power cord rather than using the heavy gauge supplied power cord

This unit may not be able to play back discs that have been recorded on other units due to the recording conditions, mode, surface dirt or scratches. Other units may not be able to record to or play back discs that have been recorded on this unit due to the recording conditions, mode, surface dirt or scratches.

Can play CD-R and CD-RW music discs in music CD and Video CD format. However, the pickup may not be able to play some CD-R or CD-RW discs, depending on the condition of discs and pickup. Compatible formats: CD-Audio, Video CD.

WMA content can be encoded by using Windows Media® Player version 7, 7.1, or Windows Media® Player for Windows® XP, or Windows Media® Player 9 Series. Compatible with sampling rate of 32,44.1 or 48kHz. Not compat- ible with loss-less-encoding or variable bit-rate (VBR) WMA files. WMA files encoded with DRM (Digital Rights Management) copy protection* will not play. Up to 299 folders and 648 files (MP3 and

WMA) in total can be played. Compatible with MPEG1 Audio Layer3 32,44.1 or 48kHz formats. MP3 file name requires MP3 or mp3 as an extension.

Chinese characters cannot be displayed, although files featuring them can be played.
