HOLD Switch “ ”

The HOLD switch locks all of the other controls buttons. If you are carrying the radio in a

FM

backpack, handbag, gym bag, etc, set the HOLD switch to the ‘On’position to prevent it from turning

‘On’accidentally by something pressing against the POWER button. Likewise, once you start listening to the radio you can set the HOLD switch to the ‘On’position to prevent you from accidentally pressing the POWER button again or the TUNING

+/ – or PRESET UP/DOWN buttons while you are carrying or jogging with the radio. Remember that to use any of the other controls the HOLD switch must be set to the ’Off’position.
