AUXILIARY PLAYBACK

By using an optional audio connection cable, sound from an external source can be heard through this portable system. Before making any connections, turn off the power on both units.

Plug a connection cable (not included) with 3.5mm plugs from the LINE OUT jack on the external unit to this unit’s AUX input jack.

HELPFUL HINTS:

You could connect to the computer audio output to use this unit as an amplified speaker system. Place the unit away from the monitor to avoid interference.

Headphone outputs such as those on a cassette player can be connected. However, be sure to turn down the volume of the cassette player before connection and adjust the volume of both units to a desired level after power is turned on.

PHONES JACK

For private listening, connect low impedance 32 ohm stereo headphones (not included) with a 3.5mm plug to this jack. The speakers are automatically disconnected when the headphone plug is inserted in the jack.
