The Reset Switch

The reset switch is located on the front panel, under the top plastic tab as shown in Figure 2-3.It serves two functions: resetting the i960 processor and shutting down the module.

•To reset the processor, press the reset switch twice within three seconds.

•To shut down the module, press and hold the switch down for three or more seconds. To restart the module, press and hold the switch down for three or more seconds.

SNMP management may be used to disable the functions of this switch.
