3.2.10.7 Removingthe CR Assembly
1. Remove the rear/frontedge guide assembly,front cover, papereject assembly, rear/front tractor
unit , and printer cover.
2. Remove the panelboard (see Section 3.2.2)and upper housingassemblies (see Section 3.2.7) .
3. Remove the printer mechanism(see Section 3.2.10 ).
4. Remove the leftframe assembly (seeSection 3.2.10.5) and RDassembly (see Section3.2.10.6).
5. Disconnect 3 FFCsfrom the printhead and PW sensorassembly.
6. Disengage the timingbelt from the CRmotor pinion gear.
7. Remove the CRassembly from the rear/frontCR guideshaft.
8. Remove the timingbelt from the 2 holdingslots under CRassembly.
9. Remove the CR assembly.
Adjust the platen gap and the bidirectional print alignment. Refer to Chapter 4.
