3.2.10.8 Removing the Rear PE Sensor Assembly
1 Remove therear/front edge guideassembly, front cover, papereject assembly, rear/front tractor
unit, and printer cover.
2. Remove the panelboard (see Section 3.2.2)and upper housingassemblies (see Section 3.2.7).
3. Remove the printer mechanism(see Section 3.2.10).
4. Turn the printer mechanism over, and insert astandard screwdriveror other prying tool into
holein the rear frameshown in the figure.
5. Release 2 clips while pushingup the rear PE sensorwith thescrewdriver or other prying tool.
6. Remove the rearPE sensor after disconnecting theconnector.
3.2.10.9 Removing the Front PE Sensor Assembly
1. Remove the rear/frontedge guide assembly,front cover, papereject assembly, rear/front tractor
unit, and printer cover.
2. Remove the panelboard (see Section 3.2.2)and upper housingassemblies (see Section 3.2.7).
3. Remove the printer mechanism(see Section 3.2.10).
4. Turn the printer mechanism over on thereverse side and removethe frontPE sensor bypushing
and releasingthe 2 clips.
