6Press the button next to MEMORY CARD FORMAT. You see a warning message. Press the button next to Yes to format the card.

7After the card is formatted, the camera returns to the Memory Card Format menu. Press the button under BACK to return to the SETUP menu.

CAUTION

Never remove the card while the camera is on. Data in the card may

be lost or damaged.

1Place your finger behind the memory card cover latch and pull the cover open.
