Compuprint MDP 40 is the fastest front-office printer (600 cps in draft mode at 15 cpi) and works at a remarkable low noise level (below 54 dBA). Many applications can also take advantage of the optical mark reading. Now it is possible to identify the forms, tickets or modules inserted. Checking the marks, the printer recognizes the inserted print media and consequently starts the printing. Moreover, the Compuprint MDP 40 printers set-up could not be easier thanks to its unique and innovative set-up procedure. An optical reader recognizes the set-up from an instructions sheet manually marked. This module can be faxed to other branches, where it can be used also by not skilled personnel for immediate set-up of the printers.

The printer provides Epson and IBM protocol emulation. Integration with the workstation software environment is straightforward since compatibility exists with standard Printer Drivers provided by most popular Operating Systems (Windows® 3.1x - 95 - 98 - 2000 - NT and Unix AIX). The special features are activated by standard printer emulation without any additional specific commands.
