Viewing your photos

You can see a much larger view of any thumbnail image
in the selection window by clicking the View Photo
button or double-clicking on the thumbnail. The file
name and its dimensions are displayed above the image
view area.
The size of the photo will be on e-half the width and
height of your monitor’s screen resolution. For example,
if your monitor is set to 800 × 600 mode, the view of the
photo will be 400 × 300 in normal mode and 400 × 150 in
panorama mode.
Note:
The View Photo button is disabled when multiple thumbnails
are selected.

Enhancing your photos

To increase contrast, color balance, saturation, and edge
enhancement, and to reduce color smudge in your
photos, click the Photo Enhance button before you st art
transferring your photos.
You can use this feature when you transfer your photos
using Export Photos bu tton, Get Photo(s) but ton, or OLE
drag-and-drop.
You should note that when you use this feature ,
transferring takes a longer time.

Rotating your photos

Use the Rotate Photo buttons when you want to change
the orientation of your photos. The photos rotate in a
clockwise or counter-clockwise direction in 90 de gree
increments.
When you click a Rotate Photo button, the picture
rotates and the progress meter indicates progre ss. T he
selected thumbnails are updated to visually refle ct th eir
new orientation. When you use Save to Folder, Export
Photo and Get Photo(s) buttons, or OLE drag-an d-drop,
the orientation of the image transferred from the camera
matches the thumbnail.
Using the Controls Menu
When you click the Controls tab, the Controls m e nu
appears. The Controls menu allows you to see a live
preview on your computer screen, take photos from
your computer, and change camera settings.
