the "Off" position before changing the angle of the water jet. It is also recommended that the trigger gun safety lock be engaged as well. The adjustable lance allows you to use any variety of spray pattern from a full fan spray to a direct stream spray. When using the pressure washer to clean wood decks, siding, vehicles, etc., always start using the fan spray and begin spraying from a minimum 36" away to avoid damaging the surface of the material that you are cleaning. Always clear the area that you will be cleaning of people, pets and objects.

Using the Brush

The brush is used with the trigger gun. Push the brush onto the trigger gun nozzle and turn clockwise to lock as you would for the lance. The brush may be used for washing cars, boats, windows and other similar items. The brush operates at open orifice pressure so that it will not direct a stream of water. (Fig. 8)

TOTAL STOP SYSTEM

PLEASE NOTE: This pressure washer is equipped with the Total Stop System, which stops the unit during the bypass stage. To start the pressure washer, it is therefore necessary to set the On/Off switch to the “On” position; after that press the trigger: the Total Stop System will start the machine and will stop it automatically when the trigger is released. It is advisable to put on the safety lock of the trigger whenever the machine is stopped in order to avoid unintentional starting.

Any automatic start of the machine without pressing the trigger is attributable to air bubbles in the water or other similar phenomena which do not imply the existence of any defects in the machine. Do NOT leave the appliance unattended during the standby for more than 5 minutes. Contrarily, for the safety of the appliance it is necessary to re-turn the On/Off switch to the “Off” position. Please check that the coupling of the high pressure hose with the appliance and the trigger gun supplied as standard equipment is made correctly, that is to say without any water leak.
