Curls:
o Start with a lock of hair about 5 cm wide. Open the jaw at the curling iron and place it about halfway along the lock of hair.
oSpread the hair along the cylinder and carefully release the upper jaw so that the
hair is trapped.
o Slide the apparatus slowly towards the hair ends.
oCheck hair ends are trapped under the jaw and finish by winding the lock around the curling tongs towards the scalp. Avoid
touching the scalp with the hot curling tongs.
oHold the curling tongs in place for
oOpen the jaw and remove the appliance from hair. Allow hair to cool before setting.
Soft curls:
oAttach the brush accessory on the thinnest curling iron without opening the jaw.
Important: The iron must be cold when fitting the brush.
o Heat the apparatus up.
oStart with a lock of hair about 5 cm wide and roll it around the brush. Start at the hair ends
and roll towards the scalp.
oHold the iron in place for approx. 10 seconds before carefully rolling the hair lock out again. Allow hair to cool before setting.
Long curls:
oAttach coil accessory to the thinnest curling iron (1) without opening the jaw. Important:
The iron must be cold when fitting the coil. o Heat the apparatus up.
oStart with a lock of hair about 5 cm wide and roll it around the spiral. Start at the hair ends.
Trap them with the small jaw and roll towards the scalp.
oHold the iron in place for approx. 10 seconds before carefully rolling the hair lock out again. Allow hair to cool before setting.
CLEANING
•Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
•Leave the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
•Clean the appliance by wiping it with a damp cloth. A little detergent can be added if the appliance is heavily soiled.
•Never use a scouring pad or any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as those may damage the outside surfaces of the appliance and its ceramic plates.
