NOTE: Do not use methanol, gasoline containing methanol, gasohol containing more the 10% ethanol, premium gasoline or white gas. Using these fuels can damage the engine’s fuel system.
NOTE: Do not use gasoline that has been stored since the last mowing season or longer.
a)Clean around the fuel tank cap.

b)Remove the cap from the tank.
c)Fill the fuel tank with unleaded gasoline to within 1/4 to 1/2 inch (6 to 13 mm) from the top of the tank. Do not fill into the filler neck.
NOTE: Do not fill the tank more than 1/4” (6 mm) from the top of the tank because the gasoline must have room to expand.
d)Install the fuel tank cap and wipe up any spilled gasoline.
3.2.3Make sure you understand the controls, their locations, their functions, and their safety requirements.
3.3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
3.3.1Read the Engine Owner's Manual carefully for detailed operating instructions and maintenance regarding the engine.
Before attempting to operate the unit, refer to Section 1 (Safety) and follow all safety, operating, and preparation guidelines as stated in that section.
3.3.2Starting the Engine:
a)Connect the wire to the spark plug. See Figure 3.
