Using Detergent with the Pressure

Washer
We recommend using either brush or
the regulating lance when you wish to
use the detergent with your pressure
washer. To use the regulating lance,
set the pressure handle to the minimum
pressure level indicated by the “dot”.
(Fig. 16)
Add detergent to the detergent tank and
insert the feed tube into the detergent
tank through the removable detergent
tank lid. Make sure that the feed tube
goes all the way to the bottom of the
detergent tank.
If you do not need to use detergent,
remove the feed tube from the
detergent tank.

coating of aerated detergent to the areas
being cleaned .
When using the pressure washer we
recommend the use of personal safety
items to reduce the risk of accidental

Using the Regulating Lance

The angle of the water on the regulating
lance may be adjusted for high or low
pressure by turning the nozzle adjuster
counter-clockwise for a higher pressure
or clockwise all the way to the “dot” for a
lower pressure. (Fig. 13) Always make
sure that the "On/Off' switch is in the "Off"
position before changing the pressure of
the water jet. It is also recommended that
the trigger gun safety lock be engaged as
well. The regulating lance allows you to
use any variety of pressure from full
pressure to low. When using the pressure
washer to clean wood decks, siding,
vehicles, etc., always begin spraying from
a minimum 36-inches away at the lowest
pressure setting to avoid damaging the
surface material that you are cleaning.
Always clear the area that you will be
cleaning of people, pets and objects.
