5 Transmitter power off. Power indicator not lit. Power is off because circuit breaker for baby’s room off.

6 You hear static or buzzing and all five bars lit on receiver.

SOLUTIONS

1

2 Make sure channel switches on both transmitter and receiver set to same channel.

3 Make sure light switch that controls power flow to wall outlet is on.

4 Check AC adaptor jack-to-socket and plug-to-outlet connections.

5 Make sure house fuses and circuit breakers are on.

6 Check all five solutions above. Any one or more of these solutions should solve the problem.

Helpful Hint: If, after checking all of these solutions, you believe that your AC adaptor is damaged, please call Fisher-Price®at 1-800-432-KIDS.

Excess dirt in the transmitter microphone will hamper transmission

of sound. Also, excess dirt in the AC adaptor jack hole will prevent proper jack-to-socket connection. Clean outer surface of the transmitter, base and receiver with a cloth lightly dampened with a mild cleaning solution.

Never immerse transmitter, base, receiver or AC adaptors.

PROBLEM

PROBLEM

You hear static or buzzing because

receiver is out of range of transmitter.

Note: Range varies depending on surrounding conditions such as noise levels, physical obstructions and signal interference. Under ideal conditions, the range can be as far as the length of a football field.

SOLUTION

Move receiver closer to transmitter.

Helpful Hints:

-If you cannot hear your child and all five bars do not light, your receiver battery is weak. Replace the receiver battery with a fresh, 9V alkaline battery or use AC adaptor for power source.

-If receiver is too close to transmitter, you will hear squealing or whistling. For example, your toddler (while wearing the transmitter) may walk into the same room you are in (listen- ing to receiver). Move receiver further away from transmitter, or turn volume on receiver down to reduce noise.
