Switch off and remove the plug from the mains

 

 

 

before cleaning.

 

 

 

It is recommended that you clean your lawnmower

 

 

 

straight after mowing while the grass is still wet.

Remove grass from under the hood with the

 

 

 

 

spanner/scraper tool. (T1)

Remove the blade, see Figure N, to gain access

 

 

to the fan and clean with a soft brush. (T2)

 

 

 

3.

Lever the roller out of position and clean with a

 

 

 

 

soft brush. (T3)

 

 

 

4.

Using a soft brush, remove grass clippings from:

all air intakes (U)

 

 

 

 

•

grassbox (V)

 

 

 

 

•

inside of grassbox lid (W)

 

 

 

5.

Wipe over the surface of your lawnmower with a

dry cloth.(X)

IMPORTANT

 

 

 

 

Never use water for cleaning your lawnmower. Do

 

 

 

 

not clean with chemicals, including petrol, or sol-

 

 

 

 

vents - some can destroy critical plastic parts.

 

 

 

Cleaning the Easi-Reel cable winder

 

 

 

1.

At the back of the cable winder, squeeze together

 

 

 

 

the two catches (Y1) and remove the cable spool.

 

 

 

2.

Clean the cable spool and the area it was located

with a soft brush (Y2 & Y3)

 

 

 

 

 

3.

Replace the cable spool, ensuring it clicks into place.

 

 

 

Transporting the lawnmower.

 

 

 

•

The lawnmower may be transported on its roller (Z).

 

 

 

At the End of the Mowing Season

 

 

 

1.

Replace blade, bolts, nuts or screws, if necessary.

 

 

 

2.

Clean your lawnmower thoroughly.

 

 

 

3.

Ask your local Service Centre to clean the air filter thor-

 

 

 

 

oughly and carry out any service or repairs required.

 

 

 

4.

Make sure that the electric cable is coiled properly.

 

 

 

Storing the lawnmower

The handles can be folded to take up the minimum of space (AA)

•Loosen the handle knobs

•Fold the upper handle over the lawnmower care- fully, do not drop.

•Ensure the switchbox cable is not trapped.

•Store in a dry place where your lawnmower is protected from damage.

Storing your bags

To ensure long bag life, store your bags in a cool dry place. Use bags within two years.

Bags can be dangerous. To avoid danger of suf- focation keep bags out of reach of children.
