Getting Started

If you are using this product for the first time, follow these steps to install the batteries, turn the product on and adjust the screen contrast.

1.Turn the product over.

2.Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw to the battery cover and then remove the cover.

3.Place four AAA batteries inside the case, fol- lowing the diagram.4.Replace the battery cover.5.Press ON/OFF.

A brief demonstration appears.

6.Press CLEAR to stop the demo. The Ready screen appears.

7.Press or repeatedly to adjust the screen contrast.

You can adjust the contrast only at the Ready screen.

√Disabling the Demonstration

You probably do not want to view the demonstration every time you turn on this product. To disable the demonstration, type --Dand then press ENTER. To re-enable it, do the same.
