Toreducetheriskoffire,electricalshock,orinjurytopersonswhen usingthisdryer,complywiththebasicwarningslistedbelow.

Failuretocomplywiththesewarningscouldresultinseriouspersonalinjuries.

Prevent Fire

Donotdryitemsthathavebeenpreviouslycleanedin,soakedin,or spottedwithgasoline,cleaningsolvents,kerosene,waxes,etc.Donotstorethese items on or near the dryer. These substances give off vapors that could ignite or explode.

Topreventfire,donotuseheattodryitemscontainingplastic,foam rubberorsimilarlytexturedrubber-likematerials,oritemscontainingfeathersor down.UseAirFluff(NoHeat)only.

Clean the lint screen before or after each load. The interior of the dryer,lintscreenhousingandexhaustductshouldbecleanedapproximatelyevery 18monthsbyqualifiedservicepersonnel.Anexcessiveamountoflintbuild-upin these areas could result in inefficient drying and possible fire. See Care and Cleaning, page 6.

Do not operate the dryer if the lint screen is blocked, damaged or missing.Firehazard,overheatinganddamagetofabricscanoccur.Ifyourdryerhas adryingrack,alwaysreplacethelintscreenwhenfinishedusingthedryingrack.

Keepareaaroundtheexhaustopeningandsurroundingareasfree fromtheaccumulationoflint,dustanddirt.

Do not obstruct the flow of ventilating air. Do not stack or place laundryorthrowrugsagainstthefrontorbackofthedryer.

Donotsprayanytypeofaerosolinto,onorneardryeratanytime.

Do not use fabric softeners or products to eliminate static unless recommendedbythemanufacturerofthefabricsoftenerorproduct.

Do not place items exposed to cooking oils in your dryer. Items contaminatedwithcookingoilsmaycontributetoachemicalreactionthatcould cause a load to catch fire.

Failuretocomplywiththesewarningscouldresultinfire,explosion,seriousbodily injuryand/ordamagetotherubberorplasticpartsofthedryer.
