Do not store or place laundry products on top of dryer at any time. They can damagethefinishorcontrols.

Toreduceriskoffireorseriousinjurytopersonsorproperty,comply with the basic warnings listed inImportantSafetyInstructions, pages 2-3, and thoselistedbelow.

Beforecleaningthedryerinterior,unplugtheelectricalpowercordtoavoid electricalshockhazards.

Donotuseanytypespraycleanserwhencleaningdryerinterior.Hazardous fumesorelectricalshockcouldoccur.

Inside

Clean the lint screen after every load. Lint build-up in the screen restricts air flow,whichcauseslongerdryingtimes.Thescreenislocatedatthebottomof thedooropening.Removebypullingstraightup.Removethelintandreplace thescreen.

Occasionallyawaxybuild-upmayformon thelintscreenfromusingdryer- addedfabricsoftenersheets.Toremovethisbuild-up,washthelintscreenin warm, soapy water. Dry thoroughly and replace. Do not operate the dryer withoutthelintscreeninplace.

Ifthedryerdrumbecomesstainedfromnoncolorfastfabrics,cleanthedrum with a damp cloth and a mild liquid household cleanser. Remove cleanser residuebeforedryingthenextload.

Every18monthsanauthorizedservicershouldcleanthedryercabinetinterior andexhaustduct.Theseareascancollectlintanddustovertime.Anexcessive amountoflintbuild-upcouldresultininefficientdryingandpossiblefirehazard.

Outside

Clean the cabinet with mild soap and water. Never use harsh, gritty or abrasive cleansers.

Ifthecabinetbecomesstained,cleanwithdilutedchlorinebleach[1/2cup (120 ml) in 1 quart (.95 liter) water]. Rinse several times with clear water.

Removeglueresiduefromtapeorlabelswithamixtureofwarmwaterandmild detergent.Or,touchresiduewiththestickysideofthetapeorlabel.

Beforemovingthedryer,placeastripofcardboardorthinfiberboardunder the frontlevelinglegstopreventdamagetofloor.
