Using the Menus: Shooting Mode
FMOVIE AF MODE | (defaults to r) |
This option controls how the camera selects the focus area for movies.
Option | Description | |
rCENTER | The camera focuses on the subject in the center of the frame. | |
uCONTINUOUS | The camera continuously adjusts focus to reflect changes in the distance to | |
subjects near the center of the frame. | ||

RNote that in umode, the camera focuses continuously, increasing the drain on the battery, and that the sound of the camera focusing may be audible.

Choose a frame size for movies (P73).

Choose how the camera records photographs taken during movie recording(P74).

JAE BKT EV STEPS | (defaults to ±1/3) |
Choose the size of the exposure bracketing increment used when OAE BKT is selected for RCONTINUOUS. Select from increments of +1/3 EV, +2/3 EV, and +1 EV (note that the camera may not be able to use the selected bracketing increment if the amount of over- or under- exposure exceeds the limits of the exposure metering system).
