Connecting the Camera to High Definition (HD) TVs

An HDMI cable (available from third-party suppliers) can be used to connect the camera to High Definition (HD) devices (playback only). The USB and A/V cables can not be used while an HDMI cable is connected.

RWhen an HDMI cable is connected, pictures and sound are played back on the TV.

QWhen connecting cables, be sure the connectors are fully inserted.

3Tune the television to the video or HDMI input channel. See the documen- tation supplied with the television for details.

4Press the abutton for about a second to turn the camera on. The camera monitor turns off and pictures and movies are played back on the TV. Note that the camera volume controls have no effect on sounds played on the TV; use the television volume controls to adjust the volume.
