The frame is displayed as shown at right. The composition can be adjusted using the zoom control.

3 Focus and shoot.

The framed area will be enlarged to create a full-sized picture.

RIntelligent Face Detection will not detect faces outside the selected frame.

■Intelligent digital zoom

1 Enable intelligent digital zoom.

Select ON for the RINTELLIGENT DIGITAL ZOOM option in the setup menu (P78).

2 Choose a subject.

Frame the subject in the center of the display using intelligent digital zoom.
