QMovies recorded when the aperture is displayed in red will not be correctly exposed.

Before Recording

Before recording, adjust movie settings (P75), aperture (P35), and exposure compensation (P47) and select a focus mode (P42). These settings can not be adjusted during recording.

QContinuous AF is used when S is selected for focus mode.

Using an External Microphone

Sound can be recorded with external microphones. See the microphone manual for details; if the microphone jack is 3.5 mm in diameter, use a 3.5-to-2.5 mm adapter.

R The dialog shown at right will be displayed when a microphone is connected to the microphone/remote release connector. Press MENU/OK and select uMIC/REMOTE RELEASE > mMIC (P75).
