Using the Menus: Playback Mode

DPROTECTProtect pictures from accidental deletion.1 Select DPROTECT in the playback menu.2 Highlight one of the following options and press MENU/OK:

•FRAME: Protect selected pictures. Press the selector left or right to view pictures and press MENU/OK to select or deselect. Press DISP/BACK when the operation is complete.

•SET ALL: Protect all pictures.•RESET ALL: Remove protection from all pictures.QProtected pictures will be deleted when the memory card is formatted (P66).GCROPCreate a cropped copy of the current picture.

1 Display the desired picture.

2 Select GCROP in the playback menu.

3 Use the zoom buttons to zoom in and out and use the selector to scroll the picture until the desired portion is displayed.

4 Press MENU/OK to display a confirmation dialog.5 Press MENU/OK again to save the cropped copy to a separate file.

RLarger crops produce larger copies; all copies have an aspect ratio of 4 : 3. If the size of the fi nal copy will be a, OK will be displayed in yellow.
