The Setup Menu
Choose the length of time before the camera turns off automatically when no operations are performed. Shorter times increase battery life; if OFF is selected, the camera must be turned off manually. Note that regardless of the option se- lected, the camera will not turn off automatically when connected to a printer (P57) or computer (P66) or when a slide show is in progress (P80).
2Tip: Reactivating the CameraTo reactivate the camera after it has turned off auto- matically, use the Gbutton or press the abutton for about a second (P12).
If ON is selected, selecting T at the maximum optical zoom position triggers intelligent digital zoom, further magnifying the image while processing it for sharp,
