This is the easiest mode for providing crisp and clear shots. Use this mode for ordinary

[BAUTO] photography. Camera specifies all settings other than p-Mode ([QUALITY] and [FinePix COLOR] automatically.

This mode shoots 2 images continuously without flash and with flash. Shooting with flash allows you to take a picture of a main subject brightly. Shooting without flash produces

beautiful images that retain the natural ambience. This mode is useful for shooting 2 different [ NATURAL & d] types of pictures at the same time.

When pressing the shutter button, first picture is taken without flash and next picture is taken with flash. Always 2 pictures are taken per 1 shot. Do not move the camera until shooting has ended.

 

 

This mode produces beautiful images that retain the natural ambience when shots are taken

 

 

in low-light conditions. This mode is also ideal for shooting indoors, or in situations where the

NATURAL LIGHT]

flash cannot be used.

 

 

 

Camera sets the high-sensitivity setting when selecting the Natural light mode. This mode is

 

 

effective for reducing camera shake and moving-subject blurring when taking pictures in low-

 

 

light conditions.

Use this mode for photography to get beautiful skin tones and soft overall tone.

Shoots face skin appear smooth. Whole image may be soft focused.

ENHANCER]

 

 

 

 

 

[,LANDSCAPE]

Use this mode for shooting scenery in daylight and provides crisp, clear shots of scenery

such as buildings and mountains.

 

 

 

 

 

 

[.SPORT]

Use this mode to take pictures of a moving subject. It gives priority to faster shutter speeds.

 

 

[/NIGHT] ([

Use this mode for shooting evening and night scenes. A picture is taken with a slow shutter

LONG EXPOSURE])

of up to 8 seconds. Refer to “Setting [LONG EXPOSURE] in the [/NIGHT] mode”
(p.55).

FIREWORKS]

Use this mode to shoot fireworks. It is effective for taking more vivid shots of fireworks with a

slow shutter. Refer to “Setting the exposure time in the [ FIREWORKS] mode” (p.55).

SUNSET]

Use this mode to shoot sunset, making the colors more vivid.
