Using the Photography Functions — Procedure of Setting

Specify the camera settings for taking pictures to get the best result. A general guide is given below.

1 Select the Photography mode.

Turn the Mode dial to select the Photography mode. The camera settings are tailored to the scene being shot.

BThis is the easiest mode for takingAutopictures (➝p.48).This mode produces beautiful images

Natural Light that retain the natural ambience when shots are taken in low-light conditions

(➝p.48).

	This mode shoots 2 images continuously
	without flash and with flash. Shooting with
	flash allows you to take a picture of a
NATURAL & d	main subject brightly. This mode is useful
	for shooting 2 different types of pictures at
	the same time (➝p.49).
/	Select the best Shooting mode for the
Scene position	scene being shot (➝p.49).
</M	Used for changing the aperture or shutter
Aperture priority	speed setting so that the action is frozen,
AE/	the flow of the motion is conveyed, or the
Shutter priority	background is out of focus (➝ p.54).
AE
	This mode provides more detailed
sManual	settings that are impossible to set in
	BAuto mode (➝ p.58).
