Specify the camera settings for taking pictures to get the best result. A generalguide is given below.
1Select the Shooting mode (P.38).
aAUTO Specifies all settings other than Quality, Sensitivity andFinePix COLOR on the camera.sMANUAL Sets the “EV” and “White balance” to manual to easilycontrol yourself.mPORTRAIT Uses for photography getting beautiful skin tones andsoft overall tone.,LANDSCAPE Uses for shooting scenery in daylight..SPORTS Uses for shooting sporting events./NIGHT Uses for shooting evening and night scenes.
2Specify the photography settings (P.30-32, 37, 39).
eMacro Uses for close-up shots.dFlash Uses for shots in dark locations or for backlit subjects,etc.*Self-timer Uses in situations such as group shots where thephotographer is included in the shot.DEV (Exposure compensation)Uses the AE exposure as a reference value of 0. Thisfunction brightens (+) or darkens (–) the shot.AWhite balance Uses to fix the white balance to suit the photographyconditions and lighting.
3Take the pictures (check the exposure and focus adjust
the shot composition press the shutter button down fully).
