Turning the Camera on and Off

Shooting Mode

To turn the camera on, open the lens cover fully. The camera turns off when the lens cover is closed.

Playback Mode

If the lens cover is closed, the camera can be turned on in playback mode by pressing the a button for about a second.

To turn the camera off, press and hold the abutton.

RSwitching to Shooting Mode

To exit to shooting mode, press the shutter button halfway or the Bbutton.
