You can change the language or date and time setting later in the setup menu (pg. 83).
Tips: The Camera Clock•If the battery is removed for an extended period, the camera clock will be reset and the language- selection dialog will be displayed when the camera is turned on.
•If the battery is left in the camera for about 24 hours, the battery can be removed for about 24 hours without resetting the clock, language selection, or power management options.
