The Touch Panel Display
The touch panel display can be operated by tapping the display or gliding a
finger over the panel. The panel responds to pressure; use a fi rm touch, but do NOT use excessive force.
Lightly tap the display to adjust settings or select pictures or menu op- tions.

Q Note that some monitor covers may affect the visibility of the image in the monitor or make the monitor less responsive. To avoid damaging the monitor and touch panel display, observe the following precautions:
•Use only your fi ngers to operate the panel. Do not use excessive force.
•Do not sit on the camera (by, for ex- ample, leaving it in a back pocket when sitting down), place it under heavy objects, or attempt to force it into a small space (such as a suitcase that is already full).
•Do not attach objects to the camera strap that might place pressure on the monitor.
