The PenCentra 200 can be powered by either its rechargeable battery pack or by AC
power adapter.

Removing and Installing a Battery Pack 2

To remove the PenCentra 200 battery pack, perform the following steps:
1. Save any active data and suspend your system.
2. Hold the system face down, w ith the arrow on the battery compartment pointing
towards you (see Figure 2-3).

3. Using the back end of the system pen (not the tip), push the spring-loaded battery
latch to the left.
4. While the battery latch is pushed to the left, slide the battery pack out of the
battery tray by pulling it towards you. When the battery is clear of the latch
mechanism, release the battery latch.
5. Resume system operation.
