Problems Solving 45

									: lit	: flashing	: off
	Status	Cause						Remedy or Status
Power	Red	High temperature error	The lamp will turn off automatically and projection will stop. Wait for about 5 minutes. After
		(overheating)	about 5 minutes the projector will switch to standby mode, so check the following two points.
			After checking, press the [Power] button to turn the power back on.
	Red		•Check that the air filter and air exhaust vent are clear, and that the projector is not positioned
				against a wall.
			•If the air filters are blocked, clean or replace them. sp.57, p.63
			If this does not solve the problem and the projector continues to overheat or the indicators continue
			to show a problem when the power is turned on, stop using the projector, disconnect the power cable
			from the wall outlet, and contact your dealer or the nearest address provided in the "International
			Warranty Conditions" section of the Safety Instructions/World-Wide Warranty Terms booklet.
Power	Red	Lamp problem	Check that the lamp is not cracked and that the air filter and air intake vent are clear.
	Red	Lamp timer failure	•Remove the lamp and check if it is cracked. sp.59
		Lamp cover is open	•Clean the air filter and the air intake vent. sp.57
			•If it is not cracked → Replace the lamp and turn on the power.
					If error still occurs → Replace it with a new lamp and turn on the power.
						If error still occurs → Stop using the projector, disconnect the power cable from the wall
							outlet, and contact your dealer or the nearest address provided in the
							"International Warranty Conditions" section of the Safety
							Instructions/World-Wide Warranty Terms booklet.

•If it is cracked → Contact your dealer or the nearest address provided in the "International Warranty Conditions" section of the Safety Instructions/World-Wide Warranty Terms booklet.

(You cannot continue projecting until the lamp is replaced).

Check that the lamp cover and the lamp are securely installed. sp.59

If the lamp cover or the lamp is not securely installed, the lamp does not switch on.

When using above an altitude of about 1500m, make sure you set the "High Altitude

Mode" to "On". sp.38
