r3. Firmlypushthe femaleendof the powercord into the powercord receptacle(A1) locatedon the backof the machine

2.Raiselid on cover(D). andpull up appropriateselector pinsto disengagepunchpinsthat maynickthe edgeof your sheet.Todeterminewhich pinsshouldbe pulledup follow the punchstepsindicatedin section"D" usingblank test paper.
C.DETERMINEWIRESIZE
1.Slidethe BinderSizeropen(C) (seefigure 1).
2.PlacedocumentincludingcoversbehindBinderSizer.
3.Releasethe BinderSizerandselectthe wire binding elementthatcorrespondswith the sizeshownby guide. Forbestresults.alwaysuseGBCbrandcoverswith GBC

I1. Lilt the PaperSupport(D) into place(optional).
2.Alignsheetsor coversandinsertedgeto beboundinto punchthroat(D1).
~3. Jog the sheetsuntil theyareflush againstthe edgeguide

againstthe PaperSupport,or,you maypreferto holdthe sheetsin placewith onehand.
4.Topunch,pressthe PUNCH~ button(D2).The WirePRO1000punchesupto 17 sheetsof 20 Ib./80 grampaperat once.PunchonlyTWOclearcoversat a timeto preventjamsandexcessivewear.
5.If you try to punchtoo manysheetsGBC'spatented"Jam Stopper"safeguardfeaturewill automaticallystopand reversethe punchdie.At this time the yellowLEDindicator will temporarilyflash.Removethe paperfrom the punch throatanddecreaseit'sthicknessbeforetryingto punch again.
E.BINDING
1.Usingthedialonthelelt sideadjusttheWireCrimperto correspondwith thewireelementsizeto beused.
2Placethe largeloopsof thewireelementinto theWire Holderas shownin figure3. Besureit is firmly secured with thesmallloopsfacingtowardyou.
3.Placeyour punchedpagesfacedownwardontothe small loopsof thewireelement.Thenplaceyourfront andback
4.Holdthewireelementfirmly at eachendof the bookand removeit from theWire Holderby slidingit to the lelt or lilting it off. Whilefirmly holdingthe wire elementat each endplacethe bookwith the openendof thewireface downinto theWireCrimper.Youcan releasethe book so it restsagainstthe supportrackor continueto hold it with onehand(figure5).
5.Tocrimp thewiretogetherpullthe handledowntoward you completelyuntil it goesnofurther.Removethe book andflip thefront coveraroundto thefront. Your presentationis nowcomplete.
