Limited Warranty

Briggs & Stratton Power Products Group, LLC will repair or replace,
free of charge, any part(s) of the equipment that is defective in
material or workmanship or both. This warranty is effective for the
time periods and subject to the conditions stated below. For all
warranty service, find the nearest Authorized Service Dealer in our
dealer locator map at BRIGGSandSTRATTON.COM.
THERE IS NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY. WARRANTY COVERAGE
FOR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO
THE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH BELOW, OR TO THE EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW. LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Some states or countries do not allow limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts, and some states or countries do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation and/or the above exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state or country to country.*
* In Australia - Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to
a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to
be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major

Enclosure is warranted against surface rust and corrosion for the first year
of the warranty period. Surface rust and corrosion is defined as any rust
or corrosion that has penetrated the paint but has not penetrated through
the metal substructure.
Enclosure is warranted against rust-through for the first two years of the
warranty period. Rust-through is defined as rust or corrosion that has
penetrated completely through the paint and metal substructure.
Accessory parts have a separate warranty. Refer to the warranty included
with the accessory part at purchase.
Travel expenses are reimbursed as specified under the Briggs & Stratton
Warranty Guidelines document to authorized Briggs & Stratton dealers for
performing applicable warranty repair work.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase by the first retail
or commercial customer. In order to ensure prompt and complete
warranty coverage, REGISTER YOUR PRODUCT IN ONE OF THREE
WAYS:
1. ONLINE AT BRIGGSANDSTRATTON.COM, OR
2. MAIL THE COMPLETED REGISTRATION CARD, OR
3. CALL 888‑575‑8226
SAVE YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE RECEIPT. IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE
PROOF OF THE INITIAL PURCHASE DATE AT THE TIME WARRANTY
SERVICE IS REQUESTED, THE MANUFACTURING DATE OF THE
PRODUCT WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE WARRANTY PERIOD.
Registration is not required to obtain warranty service.
