Preparando el Café

IMPORTANTE: Coloque la cafetera sobre una superficie nivelada.

1.Enchufe el aparato en un tomacorriente eléctrico estándar de 120V AC.

2.Asegúrese de que la unidad esté en la posición OFF (apagada). La luz del indicador estará apagada.

3.Saque la Garrafa de la Placa de la Base

4.Saque la Tapa de la Garrafa por medio de un giro del Asa de la Tapa de la Garrafa en sentido con- trario al de las agujas del reloj hasta que la flecha en la Tapa de la Garrafa esté alineada con la flecha que se encuentra en la Garrafa. Alce la tapa de la Garrafa para sacarla. (Vea la Figura 1).

5.Llene la garrafa con agua fría. Alce la Tapa de la Cafetera que se encuentra en la parte superior de la cafetera y vierta lentamente el agua desde la Garrafa Térmica en la Cámara de Agua, hasta el nivel deseado de acuerdo con el número de tazas (1-8). Vuelva a colocar la tapa de la garrafa aline- ando las flechas en la Tapa de la Garrafa con las del cuerpo de la Garrafa y gire en el sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que las asas estén alineadas. (Vea la Figura 2).

6.Extienda el asa del Cesto del Filtro Removible para levantar el Cesto del Filtro Removible hacia arriba en forma recta y sacarlo de la cafetera. Inserte un cono de papel de filtro tamaño #4 (o un filtro dorado permanente) dentro del Cesto del Filtro Removible.
