Front PanelFront A/V Jacks Receives signals from another component like a VCR or camcorder when it is
connected to these jacks. Use INPUT to select L2 to see a signal using these jacks.
CHANNEL TRACKING Up ( )/Down ( )Selects next higher or lower channel in the VCR’s
channel memory. Adjusts tracking when a tape is playing. Used for program express and moving
through menu system.
FWD Forwards the tape when the VCR is in stop mode. Searches the picture forward during
playback mode.
PLAY•PAUSE Plays a tape. Pauses action for viewing during playback. Pauses recording to
prevent recording of unwanted scenes.
POWER Turns the VCR on and off.
RECORD Starts VCR recording. Press repeatedly for setting Express Recording time duration.
REV Rewinds the tape when the VCR is stopped. Searches the picture in reverse during playback
mode.
STOP•EJECT A single press of this button stops normal VCR functions (record, playback,
rewind, fast-forward, or pause). If pressed a second time, this button ejects an inserted tape.
TV•VCR Switches the picture so that it either comes from the VCR or the TV’s signal.
