TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Engine is running, but
no AC output is
available.
Engine runs good but
bogs clown when loads
are connected.
Cause
I. Circuit breaker isopen.
2. Poor connection or defective cord set.
3. Connected device isbad.
4. Fault in generator.
I. Short circuit in a connected load.
2. Generator is overloaded.
3. Enginespeed istoo slow.
4. Shortedgenerator circuit.
I. Run/Stop switch set to "Stop".
2. Dirty air cleaner.
3. Out of gasoline.
4. Stalegasoline.
5. Sparkplug wire not connected to spark
Solution
I. Reset circuit breaker.
2. Check and repair.
3. Connect another device that is in good
condition.
4. Contact Generac service facility.
I. Disconnect shorted electricalload.

I. Set switch to "Run".
