Powering the Unit
Power the unit by connecting it to a standard AC outlet (120V ~ 60Hz) via the at- tached AC cord.
Battery Backup
2 AA Batteries can be inserted into the bottom of the unit to serve as a battery backup in case of a power failure.
Note, the battery power for this unit is meant as a backup only, and will not sustain the units power for an extended period of time.
