Using the Carrier

!Infants can tip or slide carrier by their movements or by pushing off other objects with their feet. If the carrier tips over, child can suffocate. If the carrier is too upright, infant's head may drop forward and cause breathing problems.

!DO NOT place carrier near the edge of surfaces such as tables or counters. To prevent falls, stay within arm's reach whenever carrier is not on floor/ground.

!Always place carrier on a firm and level surface. Never place carrier on soft or plush surfaces that may allow carrier and infant to roll over.

!Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always properly secure the seat belt when child is in the infant carrier.

!Do not use infant carrier if child weighs over 25 pounds (11.3 kg) or becomes too active to swing properly in the carrier.

!Do not use infant carrier in a shopping cart.

!Do not attempt to adjust handle while infant carrier is on swing.
