harness tightener to tighten the straps as shown . The remaining straps should be about equal in length. CHECK that both straps are flat and tight on child’s shoulders.

To loosen the straps, hold the harness

tightener up and pull the strap from the front of the seat .

6.Snap harness clip pieces together . Position harness clip in middle of chest,

level with armpits and away from the neck .

7.SAFETY CHECK:

a)CHECK that harness straps are not twisted.

b)CHECK that the harness is snug.

A snug strap should not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line without sagging. It does not press on the child’s flesh or push the child’s body into an unnatural position .
