Test Run
Once assembly is complete and adjustments are done to your satisfaction, you are ready to start the machine.
Turn on the power supply at the main panel. Press the START button. Make sure your finger is poised on the STOP button, just in case there is a problem. The planer should run smoothly with little or no vibration or rubbing noises. Strange or unnatural noises should be investigated and cor- rected before operating the machine further.
Run the planer for a short time to ensure that the moving parts are working properly with no exces- sive vibration. If any problem develops, correct it before attempting to use the machine.
