Spray Function
•Whether steam or dry ironing, you are able to use the Spray button (fig 8) to dampen laundry to remove stubborn creases.
Vertical steam ironing (according to model)
Ideal for removing creases in suits, jackets, skirts, curtains, etc. :
•Hang the garment on a hanger and hold the fabric slightly taut with one hand.
•Set the thermostat control to MAX (fig 9).
•Press the Superpressing button repeatedly (fig 7) moving the iron from top to bottom (fig 10).
•Hold the iron a few centimetres from the fabric to avoid burning delicate fabrics.
Every fifth time you press the button, return the iron to the horizontal position. The steam is very hot, so you should always do this with the garment on a hanger – never while someone is wearing it.
Store your iron
•Set the steam control to and unplug the iron.
•Wait until the soleplate cools down and empty the reservoir. A little water may remain in the reservoir.
•Wind the cord around the heel of the iron.
•Store the cold iron on its heel (fig 11).
Maintenance and cleaning

•Unplug your iron and empty the water tank.

To slow down scaling and prolong the useful life of your iron, carry out the

•At the end of the operation, put the anticalc cartridge back in place and then plug in your iron for 2 minutes on its heel to dry the soleplate.
