BEFORE FIRST USE
Operate the
MAKING COFFEE

-Use cold water only. You can remove the water tank to fill it directly under the tap.

-Once the coffee has filtered through, we recommend that you allow it to stand on the hot plate for 5 minutes before drin- king.
-Note: cold milk straight from a refrigera- tor will decrease the temperature of the coffee.
CLEANING

- Unplug and leave to cool before clea- ning. Do not clean the appliance when it is hot.
-Once the appliance has cooled down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.
-You can clean the removable parts in the dishwasher.
-The jug and its impact and heat protec- tive skirt are microwave compatible.

DESCALING
If you use clear spirit vinegar:
-Mix 2 cupfuls of vinegar with 2 cupfuls of water.
