Theclock displaystime in 12-hour format.With the radio turnedon
oroff, press TIME SETfor two seconds.Withinthree secondspress the
HOURand MINUTE buttons to set the correct hour and minutes.They
canbe pressed with quick, short presses to advance slowly or they
canbe keptpressed down to advancerapidly.When finished,release
theTIME SET buttonor wait until the digitsstop flashing.
Selectthe BUZZER or RADIO setting on the right side of the radio.
Withthe radio turned on or off, press AL.SET for two seconds.Within
threeseconds press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the correct
hourand minutes. They can be pressed with quick, short presses to
advanceslowly or they can be kept pressed down to advance rapidly.
Whenfinished, release the AL.SET button or wait until the digits stop
flashing.
Withthe radio turned on or off, press the AL.ON/OFF button. The
alarmactivation symbol appears in the upper right corner of the LCD
andlooks like a loudspeaker.Turn it off by pressing the AL. ON/OFF
buttonagain and the symbol disappears.
Whenthe activated alarm turns the buzzer or the radio on, it can be
turnedoff by pressing the AL. ON/OFF button. Thiswill cause the
loudspeakersymbol to disappear from the display.
Aquick press of the LIGHT button causes the display to be illuminat-
edfor about 5 seconds. Use a long press to permanently light the dis-
play(note that thiscauses increased battery usage). Press
LIGHT/SNOOZEagain to turn it off.
Whilethe alarm is on, pressing the SNOOZE button causes the alarm
topause forabout 10 minutes,andthen continue.Thiscan berepeat-
edthree times.
Withthe radio turned off, press this button for two seconds to lock it;
‘Hold’appears in the display. Press the button again to unlock it; ‘Un-
H’appears in the display.
Tominimize the possibility of battery acid leakage, only use high
qualityalkaline, lithium or rechargeable nickel-metal-hydridebatteries.
Neverintermix old with new, or different brands or types of batteries.
Damagecaused by battery acid leakage is not covered by this prod-
uct’swarranty.
