Using the charging unit
1Plug the socket G of the appliance into the plug in the charging unit.
2Plug the mains adapter cable 9 into the socket of the charging unit.
3Insert the mains adapter plug in the socket.

7Ensure that the appliance and the charging station are completely dry before charging.
Environmental note
7This appliance contains nickel metal hydride batteries. Do not dispose of it with your household waste at the end of its service life. Open the housing. Take the used batteries out and make sure to dispose of them in an environ- mentally sound manner, for example using public recycling sites. Find out about the legal regulations which apply in your area.
Mains operation (with mains adapter)
Check if the mains voltage on the supplied mains adapter type plate corresponds to your local mains supply. The only way to disconnect the device from the mains supply is to unplug the adapter.
1Insert the mains adapter plug into the G socket.
2Insert the mains adapter plug 9 in the socket.
