Switching on and off
1Pull out the power cord to the length you require.
Caution
7A yellow mark appears at the end of the cord. The maximum cable length is shown by a red mark. Never attempt to pull out the cord beyond the red mark.
2Plug the power cord into the wall socket.
3Press the D button to switch on the appli- ance.
4After use, switch off the appliance with the D button and disconnect the power cord
from the wall socket.
Caution
7Always disconnect the power cord if the appliance is not being used.
Suction control
A suction control is located on the handle P , which you can operate with your thumb. If the control Q is fully closed, the maximum suction power is reached.
However, in some cases it is advisable to have less suction power, such as when cleaning material, upholstery or shag pile carpets. Open the control if and when required.
Q
Dust level display
This display G shows you how full the dust bag is. If the display indicates more than 50%, the dust bag needs to be changed.
