Silicone Seal Replacement Instructions

The H2O Audio Capture Waterproof CaseTM features a removable, black silicone seal that forms a waterproof barrier between the base and lid of the case. It is extremely important that special attention is paid to ensure the seal is completely seated in the groove of the lid. If the seal is loose, out of alignment, twisted or pinched in any way, it will compromise the waterproof integrity of the case and should not be used. Any debris such as hair or sand will keep it from forming a watertight barrier and should be cleaned off before use.

The life of the seal is typically one year. A replacement seal has been provided for annual replacement, accidental damage, loss, overexposure to direct sunlight, or if the seal has become misshaped though misuse. Please contact H2O Audio Customer Support for additional silicone seals.

Replacing the Seal

3.To install a new or clean seal, start at any corner, push the seal into the corner and run your finger along the seal to ensure it is seated completely on all four sides and corners.

4. Gently close the lid and lock the latch. The lid should close without any resistance. If you experience any resistance when closing the case please call customer service immediately.
