Appuyer sur le bouton de la pompe pour commencer l’infusion de l’espresso; appuyer à nouveau sur le bouton de la pompe pour interrompre le débit. Au début de la distribution de l’espresso, la couleur de l’infusion sera claire. Laisser écouler l’espresso du porte-filtre pendant 15 à 20 secondes avant de retirer la tasse.

Attendre environ 1 minute avant de retirer le porte-filtre de l’appareil. Ceci permet l’é- coulement de la mouture d’espresso et de l’excès d’eau résiduelle de la pompe.

NOTE : Des gouttes peuvent continuer de s’écouler irrégulièrement du bec verseur. Cet égouttement est normal pour ce genre d’appareil.

Pour vider la mouture d’espresso et l’auget d’espresso du porte-filtre, soulever le levier de plastique situé sur la poignée du porte-filtre et maintenir le levier soulevé.

Garder le pouce sur le levier de la poignée, jeter la mouture d’espresso et/ou l’auget.

S’assurer que le porte-filtre est froid. Aligner le bout soulevé sur l’extérieur de l’auget ou du porte-filtre avec l’encoche de la base du porte-filtre puis retirer.

Nettoyer le porte-filtre et le bec verseur après chaque utilisation. Voir les instruc- tions au chapitre « Nettoyage » à la page 24. NE PAS laisser la mouture dans le porte-filtre; ceci peut boucher le porte- filtre et provoquer un dysfonctionnement de l’appareil.
