How to use the grinder
1.Before first use, clean the coffee grinder. See Care and cleaning section.
2.Hold unit and pull away cord storage cover. Unwind cord to desired length. Secure cord in notch and push cord storage cover closed.
3.With coffee grinder unplugged, remove lid by twisting counter- clockwise until it releases and then lift off of base. Use the cup markings to correspond to the number of cups of coffee being made. Place beans in removable grinding chamber. NOTE: Overfilling can cause unit to overheat and malfunction.
4.Align arrow on lid with graphic on grinder; then twist lid clockwise until it locks into place. The grinder will not operate without the lid properly locked. Plug into outlet.
5.Press and hold ON button. Grind 10 to 20 seconds, depending on amount and desired grind. Use coarse grind for percola- tors and medium to fine for drip coffeemakers. A finer grind will yield stronger coffee.

NOTE: The coffee grinder will only operate with cover in place and ON button pressed.
6.To remove lid, twist counterclockwise until it releases and then lift off of base.

The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

Care and cleaning

2.To remove grinding chamber, twist and pull up and out of base.

CONSERVER CES INSTRUCTIONS

Utilisation le moulin à café
1.Nettoyer le moulin à café avant le premier usage. Consulter la section du Entretien et nettoyage.
2.Tenir l’appareil et retirer le couvercle de rangement du cordon. Dérouler le cordon jusqu’à la longueur désirée. Fixer le cordon dans l’encoche et refermer le couvercle de rangement.
3.Débrancher le moulin à café; retirer le couvercle en tournant dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce qu’il se dégage et puis soulever de la base. Utiliser les mar- quages de la tasse selon le nombre de tasses de café à moudre. Déposer les grains dans le compartiment de broyage amovible.
NOTE : Le remplissage excessif peut causer la surchauffe ou un défaut de fonctionnement de l’appareil.
4.Aligner les flèches du couvercle avec les chiffres sur le broyeur puis tourner le couvercle dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce qu’il se verrouille en place. Le broyeur ne fonctionnera pas si le couvercle n’est pas enclenché correctement. Brancher la fiche dans la prise.
