Air Connection

STAPLER

Note: Air Compressor is not supplied.

You may use Quick-Couplers and Quick-Connectors (not supplied) as shown in the diagram above. Do not connect Couplers directly to the Air Inlet. Doing so will increase the overall bulk of the tool and strain the inlet threads.

1.Read and follow all safety precautions as listed on Pages 2-5 of this manual.

2.Acquire a Union Fitting (not supplied) and screw into the Air Plug [32, see Assembly Diagram on Page 8]. Tighten with a wrench.

3.Attach a Quick-Connector (not supplied) to the Union Fitting if desired. This allows quick exchange of the Air Hose to other air tools.

4.If staples do not drive down tightly, adjust to a higher pressure setting until satisfactory. Reduce air pressure if the staples are being driven too deep.

This air tool requires lubrication during operation. For best results, it is recom- mended to have an Oiler and Water Filter in line with the Air Supply as shown. This will extend the life of the tool.

Loading the Stapler

When loading, the Stapler must be discon- nected from the Air Compressor Hose.

1.Only use the proper size and type of staple with this tool, as specified in the chart on Page 2.

2.Disconnect tool from the air supply.

3.Depress the Click Lever [34] to release the

spring-loaded Magazine Assembly [51]

from the Upper Magazine [47]. Slide the Magazine Assembly out as far as it will go. See Figure A, right.

4.Turn the Stapler upside down. Place a full clip of staples inside the Upper Magazine so the pointed ends of the staples are directed away from the tool.
